This 480 kW ultra-fast Electric Vehicle (EV) charger uses advanced high protection isolated air-cooling technology, aiming to transform vehicle charging. Sungrow, leveraging its 27 years of experience in renewable energy, designed the IDC480E for reliability, minimal maintenance, and long service life, thus maximizing return on investment for customers.
Smart Design and Enhanced Efficiency
The IDC480E features a self-designed independent air duct system with no additional filters, aligning with Sungrow’s technological philosophy. Its intelligent 3D cooling distribution and patented heat exchange technology ensure carefree maintenance, even in challenging environments. With an IP65 high protection and C5 anti-corrosion rating, this charger withstands frequent use and extreme conditions.
Engineered for fast returns, the IDC480E optimizes power usage in real-time with 30 kW granularity, enhancing charging efficiency. It achieves a maximum efficiency of up to 96.5%, significantly reducing energy losses. Incorporating Sungrow’s Power Module Lifecycle Management (PMLM) technology, it guarantees a lifespan of up to 10 years, ensuring dependable performance.

Beyond its technical features, the IDC480E integrates with Sungrow’s photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage systems (ESS). It addresses insufficient power capacity and ensures a reliable power supply during outages, offering an independent energy solution. High Performance and User Convenience
Supporting up to eight charging connectors, the IDC480E combines liquid cooling terminals with air cooling terminals to meet diverse needs. It offers ultra-fast charging capabilities, delivering up to 480kW and 500A current, drastically reducing charging time for all EVs, including heavy-duty vehicles and commercial fleets.
Designed with a counterweighted cable management system and noise levels below 60 dB, the charger enhances user satisfaction. Its intuitive interface and barrier-free access ensure an easy charging experience for every EV driver.
