State Grid Accelerates Suzhou’s Photovoltaic Projects

The State Grid Suzhou City Suburban Power Supply Company is making strides in advancing solar energy projects in Suzhou. Their proactive measures ensure the safe and efficient operation of rooftop photovoltaic (PV) systems, benefiting local businesses.

Enhancing Solar Energy Connectivity

State Grid Suzhou’s staff conducted inspections on rooftop distributed PV power generation equipment on Monday. This initiative guarantees the stable operation of PV systems. Feng Zongjun of Anhui Lanmo Glass Technology praised the company’s services, stating, “Our new energy project connected to the grid quickly, significantly reducing our energy costs.”

The rooftop PV project at Anhui Lanmo Glass Technology, located in Suma Industrial Park, spans 20,000 square meters. The first-phase installed capacity is 3.8 megawatts, with an annual power generation plan of 3.67 million kilowatt-hours. This project will save 4,500 metric tons of standard coal annually.

Coordinated Efforts for Smooth Operations

Due to the continuous operation requirements of Anhui Lanmo Glass Technology, the State Grid Suzhou coordinated with construction parties and relevant departments to ensure uninterrupted production. They expedited the grid connection, minimizing business disruption and reducing electricity costs for users.

Promoting Green Energy Policies

Since the start of the year, the State Grid Suzhou has optimized the power business environment and promoted green energy usage. They strengthened communication with government bodies in Yongqiao district and Suma Industrial Park to guide enterprises in new energy investments. By opening a green channel for industrial and commercial PV customers, they established a comprehensive service for PV power generation projects.

Achievements in Solar Energy Development

As of now, State Grid Suzhou has connected 11 industrial PV projects to the grid, totaling 14.2 MW in installed capacity. They conducted over 100 safety inspections and guided the completion of more than 20 defect rectifications. These efforts have increased customer satisfaction and supported local industry in achieving green, low-carbon, and high-quality development.

State Grid Suzhou’s commitment to advancing solar energy technology is fostering significant growth in the solar energy market. Their efforts ensure reliable energy storage and efficient use of lithium batteries, aligning with the latest energy market trends and green energy policies.
