Simultaneously, the Fiskerton II-A solar project in Lincolnshire, the final installment of Shanghai Electric’s eight solar projects in the UK, has successfully connected to the grid. These projects in East and Southeast England aim to enhance the region’s grid capacity during peak demand.

Once fully operational, the energy plants are expected to contribute significantly to the UK’s power supply, providing 128,117MWh of green electricity annually.
