Key Partnership Details
- Project Scope: The Overhill project aims to enhance the stability and security of the UK electricity system, contributing to the government’s ambitious goal of nearly 40GWh of BESS by 2030.
- Technology Deployment: Powin will supply its Stack750 energy storage system with integrated StackOS software, while Pulse will oversee asset delivery and manage operations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Operational Timeline: The Overhill Project is scheduled to enter full commercial operations by mid-2025, providing critical services to maintain grid balance and enable secure connections of renewables.
