Robust Production Capacity: The newly inaugurated U.S. EV charger production facility boasts an annual capacity exceeding 10,000 units. Initially, the operation will utilize 60,000 square feet of the 100,000-square-foot building, allowing for expansion in the future as the business gains momentum.
Building on Fort Worth Presence
Decades-Long Commitment: This investment builds on LG’s longstanding presence in Fort Worth, where the company has maintained a million-square-foot distribution center for consumer electronics and home appliances for the past three decades. The new venture will bring additional tech jobs to North Texas.
Product Portfolio and Future Roadmap
Versatile Charging Solutions: The Fort Worth plant is currently assembling Level 2 AC Chargers, featuring a load management solution and variable current settings supporting 11kW output power. In the coming months, LG plans to produce its first Level 3 DC Charger, offering fast charging up to 175kW with a connected Power Bank. The roadmap also includes 350kW ultra-fast chargers.
