On the morning of March 26th, with the full connection of the first production line in Shanxi’s Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone, JinkoSolar’s “Annual 56GW Photovoltaic Integration Mega Base Project” Phase I was successfully put into operation. This marks a significant achievement in the province’s efforts to implement President Xi Jinping’s important instructions on developing new productive forces and advancing the transformation of Shanxi’s work. Project Overview and Significance
JinkoSolar’s “Annual 56GW Photovoltaic Integration Mega Base Project” is the largest single investment industrial project introduced in the province in recent years. It aims to build the world’s first, largest, and most efficient photovoltaic industry vertical integration “super digital factory,” with a total investment of about 56 billion yuan. This project is the first to automate the connection of crystal pulling, slicing, cell production, and module assembly, advancing engineering construction and technological innovation simultaneously, achieving a series of breakthroughs.
Government Support and Implementation
The provincial government attaches great importance to the Jinko project. Governor Jin Xiangjun personally oversees the project, providing on-site assistance monthly to solve difficulties. Since the signing of the contract last May, the project has achieved contract signing, construction commencement, topping out, and partial production within the year, setting a new pace for “Jinko Shanxi speed.” Governor Jin Xiangjun visited the Phase I workshop, inspected the production status, and highly praised the “Jinko Model” of simultaneous construction and innovation.
