CERB Unveils Cutting-Edge Hybrid Station with Rapid Charging Capability
CERB, a pioneering company, has introduced an advanced hybrid charging station in Bulgaria capable of charging up to 20 electric vehicles in just 15 minutes. This groundbreaking development marks a significant leap in electric vehicle charging technology.
Solar-Powered and Portable: A Revolutionary Charging Solution
The hybrid station incorporates solar panels and two CERB BESS batteries, creating a portable charging solution. It can be strategically placed at locations connected to the existing electricity network, such as small filling stations, or operate independently from the network and infrastructure.
Efficient Charging Mechanism and Access to Green Energy 24/7
The station utilizes photovoltaic panels to charge two CERB BESS batteries with solar energy. This energy is then transmitted to electric vehicles, enabling a remarkably swift charging time of 8 to 15 minutes. In comparison, conventional electric car charging in Bulgaria typically takes between 40 and 60 minutes. Additionally, the stored excess energy in the batteries allows for charging in low-light conditions, providing continuous access to green energy throughout the year.
Global Interest and Recognition for Innovation
Engineer Borislav Mantchev, the mastermind behind the hybrid station, collaborated with CERB in its development. The station has already garnered international recognition, winning a gold medal for innovation at the 77th International Technical Fair in Plovdiv in autumn 2023. CERB is in the final stages of securing contracts with Bulgarian and foreign companies, with notable interest from Romania, North Macedonia, and Greece.
