Expressing their concerns, industrialists highlight the negligence of a major bridge connecting Sindh and Balochistan for the past 18 months. The delay in rehabilitating this bridge, crucial for transportation, disrupts economic activities in the region.
Call for Proper Gas Supply and Infrastructure Rehabilitation
Ismail Suttar, President of the Lasbela Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), stresses the need for consistent gas supply and proper pressure. He emphasizes that the delay in new gas connections forces industrialists to opt for costlier Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG). Suttar calls for the implementation of Article 158 of the Constitution to ensure fair gas distribution and benefit the local population.

HITE, housing around 200 national and multinational industries on 1,300 acres, faces challenges such as energy shortages and utility problems.
