Breakthrough Energy Storage Solution
Hithium, a leading stationary energy storage manufacturer, unveiled its groundbreaking 5 MegaWatt-hour container, ∞Block, at the All-Energy Australia event in partnership with the Clean Energy Council.
Compact and High-Capacity Design
The second-generation energy storage system (ESS 2.0) boasts a 20-foot container structure, offering a 46% higher energy density than standard systems with 280 Ah cells. Pre-installed and ready for connection, ∞Block features 48 battery modules based on Hithium’s new 314 Ah LFP cells, each module delivering 104.5 kWh capacity, catering to large-scale utility needs.
Advanced Cooling Technology
The energy storage system incorporates Hithium’s mature multi-level liquid cooling technology, maintaining cell temperature variation below 3°C. Intelligent thermal management optimizes battery energy and reduces internal energy consumption.
Technical Compatibility and Local Presence
∞Block is technically compatible with major inverter brands, ensuring seamless integration. Vincent She, Hithium’s General Manager for Australia and New Zealand, emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting Australia’s clean energy expansion with high-quality stationary battery products.
Expansion Plans and Manufacturing Excellence
Hithium, founded in 2019, has already shipped 11 GWh of battery products, with plans to expand production capacity to 70 GWh by year-end. Leveraging advanced automation and data-driven intelligence, the company aims for a production capacity of 135 GWh by 2025.
