Envision Energy collaborates with AstraZeneca, Lonza, Novartis, Novo Nordisk, and Roche to deliver 200 GWh of green power annually from 2024.
Green Power Supply Agreement in Davos
Envision Energy, a leader in green technology, has inked a three-year renewable energy supply deal with five global healthcare giants – AstraZeneca, Lonza, Novartis, Novo Nordisk, and Roche. Announced during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, this collaboration aims to deliver around 200 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of green power each year from 2024.
Carbon Reduction and Sustainable Development
The partnership’s impact is significant, with an estimated annual reduction of 120,000 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions – equivalent to removing 25,000 cars from the road. This initiative marks a pioneering effort to transition the healthcare industry towards sustainable development and net-zero health systems.
Envision Energy’s Sustainable Solutions
Envision Energy, with its proven track record, has assisted over 2,000 partners in achieving net-zero goals. Healthcare Leaders Driving Sustainable Transition
Four of the collaborating companies – AstraZeneca, Novartis, Novo Nordisk, and Roche – are members of the Sustainable Markets Initiative Health Systems Task Force. Established in 2020 by His Majesty King Charles III, this task force has been pivotal in steering the global private sector towards a sustainable transition. Envision Energy, as a member of the China Council Health Working Group, aims to promote renewable energy adoption and contribute to the global green transformation alongside industry leaders.
