Enteligent Collaborates with DRDO-DIHAR to Advance Solar Heating Technology in Ladakh
In a groundbreaking collaboration, solar technology expert Enteligent has joined forces with DRDO – DIHAR Leh – Lab to revolutionize solar space heating systems. Propelled by patented technology, the initiative aims to provide sustainable heating solutions in high-altitude regions.
Significant Investment and Quick Returns
The Solar Space Heating Project requires an initial investment of around Rs 90 Lakh, promising a swift payback period of less than three years. Covering an expansive 3000 sqft area, the system boasts a lifespan exceeding 20 years with minimal maintenance.
Successful Pilot and Upgraded System
Following the installation of a pilot project in December 2023, a larger, upgraded system was implemented in the ADM Block in December 2024. This advanced system efficiently provided space heating for two rooms, maintaining a comfortable ambient temperature of +20 degrees Celsius.
Serving the Indian Army and Fostering Sustainability
The primary objective is to cater to the Indian Army’s needs, offering an eco-friendly alternative to conventional diesel boiler heating and reducing reliance on fossil fuels. The project aligns with Enteligent’s commitment to fostering a carbon-neutral ecosystem in high-altitude regions.
Expanding Reach Across India
Enteligent actively collaborates with DRDO – DIHAR to implement solar energy-based space and water heating systems in various high-altitude regions across India. The targeted areas include Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir Valley, Arunachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
