Operational Solar Power Plant in Aomori Prefecture

Situated in Aomori Prefecture in northern Japan, the newly completed solar power plant is poised to generate over 75 GWh of clean energy annually. This output is sufficient to meet approximately 11% of Aomori City’s residential energy requirements, benefiting around 15,600 households, while also mitigating 35,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually. Notably, the plant’s use of bifacial solar panels showcases innovative solutions for energy generation in adverse weather conditions.

The Aomori solar power plant represents a significant addition to Enfinity Global’s 250 MW solar PV portfolio in Japan.
