JinkoSolar has received approval from Jiangxi’s branch of the National Development and Reform Commission for its ambitious 1 GW solar module factory project in Florida, USA. With a planned investment of $82.7 million, the company aims to revamp an existing facility in Jacksonville with state-of-the-art equipment, contributing to the flourishing solar industry in the United States.

GCL SI’s Robust Financial Performance and Future Ventures

GCL SI has reported robust financials for the first nine months of the year, boasting a remarkable 97.43% YoY increase in revenue, reaching CNY 9,412 billion. The net profit surged by an impressive 240.78% YoY, amounting to CNY 142 million. The module manufacturer is set to issue shares to fund an ambitious 20 GW cell production project in Wuhu, Anhui province, signaling further growth in China’s PV industry.
