The new SE330K inverter, combined with H1300 Power Optimizers, targets small-to-medium utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) installations. It is now available for order in Italy following certification.
Advanced Solution for Challenging Sites
The versatile TerraMax solution is ideal for various topologies and challenging site conditions, including ground-mounted sites on sloped, uneven, or irregular terrains like abandoned quarries and mines. It also supports dual-use applications such as floating PV and Agri-PV with trackers. The TerraMax Inverter incorporates SolarEdge’s advanced Module Level Power Electronics (MLPE), which optimize energy output by overcoming module mismatch and shading losses, common in bi-facial modules and vertical PV systems.
Enhanced Features and Benefits
Powered by the SolarEdge ONE for C&I new energy optimization platform, the TerraMax Inverter offers high-precision module-level monitoring and PV fleet management. This technology reduces site visits, increases system uptime, and lowers operation and maintenance (O&M) costs. With 99% inverter efficiency, 200% DC-oversizing, and an integrated nighttime PID rectifier, the inverter is designed to maximize energy production. Its support for up to 80-module string lengths requires less cabling and equipment, reducing balance of system (BoS) costs by up to 50%.
